Testimonials
DAVSC
This is a very well-conceived course that covers a lot of aspects of scaling agility and goes deep enough to provide actionable tools and practices. The Process Mentors Instructors are awesome and the community that is being created around DAVSC shows a lot a promise. I’m looking forward being part of this community.
DAVSC
The DAVSC workshop instructors are experts in the subject area and breathed life into the content by relating their personal business experiences as well as actively facilitating dialog amongst the group of experienced participants. The workshop agenda is packed and we covered a lot of ground but the engagement of the instructors and participants made the DAVSC workshop a super event! I don’t know if our workshop was a special case but I enjoyed having our 3 instructors – Aldo Rall, Gareth Holebrook, and Horia Slușanschi. Their coordinated team approach, outstanding professional experiences and 3 unique English accents kept it interesting for me! I’m in the US but took the 5 day AsiaPac course after work hours in the evening so I really appreciated the extra energy provided by the team of instructors.
DAVSC
The training was clear, relevant and transferable. It was an amazing look at how value streams can be improved in any enterprise.

Value stream mapping is a challenging activity and most of the material about value stream mapping is centered around manufacturing. As a result, it’s hard for consultants in knowledge work to be able to apply this important technique in real world scenarios. The idealized value stream presented in this class along with the approach to creating the improvement backlog is a great way to uncover the biggest areas for improvement without requiring a huge investment in time. Joshua and Al did a great job making this technique and the other material in the class accessible to us.
DAVSC
The knowledge gained was truly invaluable. Learned a tremendous amount about agile and DA – things you wont find anywhere else. It will take some time to process and review all of the lessons and notes but I would encourage anyone who wants to be on the cutting edge of Agile to take this course. I will be sharing this will my company and the others in the PMI and Agile communities. Also, the ability to share and hear from others around the world in the course is always my favorite part of the training. While I was not able to attend all of the extra sessions, I did attend 4 of the 5 and each was great and well worth the time.

For a qualified person, this workshop can be a launching pad for a new and fulfilling career trajectory. This applies to external consultants or internal organizational consultants. This workshop feels like a graduate level university course. It is divided into three phases: pre-workshop preparation, the live virtual group training and post-workshop continuous learning. It is oriented toward participants who have confident leadership skills. It works best if you have an extensive set of applicable skills. To maximize your potential, you should expect to study and work with a strong sense of purpose.
DAVSC
It provides a great opportunity to learn knowledge that can be tailored and implemented anywhere business agility is required. The perspective of agile delivery of MBI in an enterprise environment is provided by “Whole Thinking”. The Value Stream Consultant course creates change agent who transforms the whole, inside and outside the team, across the organization.
DAVSC
Probably the only course available which provides the context and description to Value stream mapping and also the step by step approach to unlock the value in the entire value chain. I am sure this course in coming years will become the go to course in the space of Agility. Joshua with his immense wisdom teaches this course with ease and to my knowledge he is the only instructor so far who never had to say on any question asked which resulted in no answer or any attempt to avoid the answer. He would make every single attempt to be inclusive and answer the questions in the best possible manner. I would recommend anyone who wants to learn in this space to at least once meet and learn from Joshua.
DAVSC
Identifying and delivering Value Streams in complex organizations is challenging as you need to deal with needs, requests and expectations of different stakeholders at different levels. The DAVSC course is extremely useful for clarifying and selecting the activities to be carried out, making sense of things, identifying areas for improvement and, ultimately, delivering value faster and in a more sustainable way.
DAVSC
The DAVSC course was fantastic! I learned so much valuable information and gained so much insight from the course, I can’t wait to apply what I learned to the services I am providing my clients as an agile coach. This course convinced me that the DAVSC approach is the most effective way to guide organizations on the transformation journey. The course materials were invaluable and the trainers were world class! This is the best course I have taken in 15 years! The course really was spot on.. really it was just about perfectly balanced the way it was done. I loved the richness of the real world knowledge that was provided too.
DAVSC
The depth of the content, the competence of the trainer, Joshua Barnes, and the sharing of experience of the participants make this course an energizing cocktail that shook my neurons. Now I will take the exam first and take in practice as soon as possible.
DAVSC
Once again, Disciplined Agile has provided some essential tools to my coaching and consulting toolbox with the DAVSC course. This course not only shared how to attack the technical challenges of agile transformation at any scale, but also those complex adaptive challenges we face as agile transition agents and evangelists.
DAVSC
The DAVSC course was fantastic. The DAVSC is future of work, focusing not just on getting things done, but on delivering value faster in a customer-centric world. There is no doubt in my mind why the DAVSC is the crown jewel in PMI’s certification arsenal. Getting to learn from word-class instructor like Joshua Barnes has been monumental. Learning the reasons, the ‘whys’ behind the choices, the tools, the concepts, and the DAVSC ‘unplugged sessions’ from the creator of the DAVSC, Al Shalloway, was absolutely priceless.
DAVSC
A very well delivered course by Joshua and Al, lots of valuable knowledge shared and good exercises during the session. More practice opportunities and knowledge sharing sessions to solidify the knowledge gained needed, hopefully the CoP will provide this. Great interaction with other participants created good brainstorming opportunities, and future relationships built hopefully.
DAVSC
This comprehensive course enabled me to develop and practice Value Stream Concept. It has equipped me with tools and techniques which can used for better delivery of my client projects. Thank you Joshua and Al!
DAVSC
