Joshua Barnes is the Founder and President of Process Mentors, Inc.  He is the co-founder of Success Mentors University, a learning platform for Value Stream, Success Engineering workshops and Disciplined Agile training certifications.

Over the past two decades, Joshua and his consultancy have had a breadth of engagements, including culture change, improved productivity and quality, and focusing on the fewest things that significantly impact people, performance, and outcomes.

As a thought leader in the agile and lean space, Joshua’s emphasis has focused on Disciplined Agile and Value Stream Management.  Joshua is continuing to put his efforts into focusing on Value Streams and along with collaborating with others in the industry, he is helping to create new approaches and learning journeys.

Joshua and his staff have led and supported organizational transformations for agile ways of working, ranging from startups, non-profits, government agencies, and global commercial entities. He has trained and coached thousands of people in both co-located as well as virtual live formats, from team members to executive leadership. Our core focus is on consulting services, coaching, assessments and training.

Joshua is certified as a PMI Disciplined Agile Value Stream Consultant (DAVSC),  Disciplined Agile Coach (DAC), Disciplined Agile Scrum Senior Master (DASSM) and Disciplined Agile Scrum Master (DASM). He is a certified PMI Disciplined Agile Instructor and delivers all the DA certification training workshops; DASM, DASSM, DAC and the DAVSC. 

Joshua has extensive experience with over 20+ years and certifications in industry-recognized agile frameworks (SPC, PSM2, PSPO, etc.).  One of his personal goals is to support the growth of the PMI Disciplined Agile community.  He is an international speaker, published author, LinkedIn Learning Author, conference presenter, host of several live stream series, and leader in the Disciplined Agile community.

Chastine lives in Palmer, Alaska. She has been working in the Project Management industry for over a decade and is the founder of Blue Ink Consulting. Chastine has a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and is certified as a PMI DA instructor teaching the DASM, DASSM and Project Management CAPM and PMP exam prep workshops.  She also holds the certifications of Disciplined Agile Value Stream Consultant (DAVSC), Disciplined Agile Coach (DAC), Disciplined Agile Senior Scrum Master (DASSM) and Project Manager Professional (PMP), along with her Six Sigma Black Belt (SSBBP).

She has been PMI’s Alaska Disciplined Agile Champion since 2019 and is the past VP of Programs for PMI-AK. As Alaska’s only PMI-certified training instructor, she enjoys getting to provide agile and project management training to many different industries in the land of the midnight sun.

Chastine is a dynamic, transformational leader with an extensive history of driving the entire lifecycle of complex technical projects in both the public and private sectors, consistently producing high-quality deliverables on time and within budget in demanding fast-paced PMO environments. She will bring her experience into the classroom, bringing to life how agile ways of working can improve how you deliver value.

Al Shalloway is the Founder and CEO of Success Engineering, taking an engineering/scientific approach to success for clients, employees, companies & society. As the creator of the PMI DAVSC course and the FLEX system that powers Disciplined Agile’s at scale approach and being a past SPC Trainer & Gold Partner, Al can help any agile at scale program that needs a shot in the arm. Several key insights and methods are missing in most Agile at scale programs that he can assist with in a short term consulting engagement with or without changing the framework/method being used for the adoption. His experience with patterns thinking also enables to assist enterprise architects on overall design issues.
