By the Community, for the Community

At Process Mentors, we want to make sure we create a culture of inclusion. Our goal is to have a strong community of members who are new to Disciplined Agile or have vast experience in the DA field. The synergy between new and experienced members will greatly benefit all personally and in the workplace.

How do we accomplish a sense of community?

A Community Training Series in Small Doses

Our All Things Disciplined Agile (ATDA) format is catered to those who just want a place to learn, share, and/or expand their DA knowledge. In August 2021, we started a brand new Disciplined Agile training series on Value Stream Management consisting of 9 episodes that only take 10 minutes to view but it is packed with enough content to keep you informed of the latest DA ideas and tips.

In 2023 we started a new ATDA series for Project Managers. This new series with guest host Chastine Lynch will tackle the hard questions and topics most Project Managers need to know about. We welcome all Project Managers to join and also provide their feedback and questions during the live event.

In August 2023, PMI Introduced a new Disciplined Agile workshop developed just for teams, DA for Teams! Joshua Barnes and guest hosts from PMI who helped to develop the workshop, discuss the benefits of this workshop for organizations! This workshop teaches delivery teams how to assess their way of working and identify impediments and improvement opportunities. By the end of this one-day workshop, attendees will identify where to improve, practices & techniques to implement, and build an improvement backlog to manage and measure change and understand how to benefit from the DA™ Browser.

Watch the ATDA Series on Value Stream Management

Disciplined Agile’s definition of a value stream references Wikipedia’s definition: “a value stream is the set of actions that takes place to add value to a customer from the initial request through the realization of value by the customer.” Organizations can have many product or service value streams. In this ATDA series, together we define what are true value streams and learn which tools you can use to maximize your delivery.

We help implement lean and agile methodologies to streamline processes in a context-sensitive manner.
