Disciplined Agile Value Stream Consultant (DAVSC) Training

February 22, 2022 @ 9:00 am - February 25, 2022 @ 2:30 pm EST

PMI Disciplined Agile Value Stream Certification for SPC’s

SAFe has been a good start for many but also stagnates for others. The DAVSC improves an organization by selective using Flow, Lean, and Theory of Constraints. As a former SPCT contributor, Al Shalloway, creator of the DAVSC workshop, has defined a way to enhance and simplify SAFe with DAVSC concepts not in SAFe. This version of the DAVSC is designed to help SPCs improve the effectiveness of SAFe adoptions. How? It does this by:

  • Showing how to use value stream management in SAFe to eliminate waste and increase alignment
  • Simplifying SAFe’s portfolio and product management system
  • Having better value creation structures than ARTs
  • Having shorter planning cycles, especially for smaller projects
  • Simplifying budgeting and allocation
  • And more

The workshop will cover all DAVSC material but cut short conversations that aren’t necessary for SAFe implementations and add some time to show how to improve SAFe with DAVSC. While DAVSC certification won’t be available (unless you’re a DASSM), you’ll find the DAVSC materials invaluable in your work with SAFe. In addition, Al now provides three one-hour sessions after the regular sessions for all of the DAVSC workshops he co-delivers. Again, these could be on SAFe related topics.
