I came away with a thorough review of information from previous Process Mentors classes, and new insights to use going forward. He provided a thorough review of Value Stream Management principles and new insights through his Value Stream model. I came away with lots of new ideas to use going forward and a tool kit to utilize them in multiple environments.
DAC
The 2 day workshop was a private and very interactive class, open to share and analyze experiences from both sides. Great content as well with full hands-on the exercises. it was a lot interactive and open to share personal experiences.
DAVSC
Excellent, I couldn't be happier! "World-Class" training! I have just completed the PMI Disciplined Agile Value Stream Consultant (DAVSC) course with Success Mentors. Special thanks to co-presenters Joshua Barnes and Al Shalloway, their expertise and detailed conversations elevated a great course to a “world-class” level. Also, thanks to all the other participants whose extensive knowledge and energy contributed to a truly pleasurable learning experience.
CAPM
The three-day CAPM workshop was a great investment in my future and, along with my education and work experience, means I’m now eligible to take both the CAPM and the PMP! The workshop was offered Friday, Saturday, Sunday which means I only needed to ask for one day off from work to attend. The small class size helped everyone feel completely comfortable asking questions and our instructor, Chastine Lynch, offered great real-world examples of concepts and terminology to make sure we understood the material. I now see how important it is for project managers to have formal training in their craft, both to help them better serve their clients, and to help them protect their team from burnout by providing structure and leadership.
Value Stream Management for Leadership and Project Managers
This workshop helped me to see in reality the vision, which we were attempting to achieve with teams. Now it's easier to move from gut feeling solution, to a structural Value Stream Management process. This Workshop helped to understand key stakeholders interactions, in-depth MPI concept, and practical advices on how-to visualize the work for driving a discussion with stakeholders.
Value Stream Management for Leadership and Project Managers
Throughout the class, Joshua demonstrated his mastery of value stream mapping and provided real-world examples and case studies to illustrate the concepts and techniques. He also shared outstanding tools and tips for mapping value streams and identifying opportunities for improvement, which were both practical and effective.
DAVSC
It was great that it was 5 days, not 3. And I wish we have few more days for more practice and discussions. Overall, it is the most valuable course for me in last few years. Very practical and pragmatic.
Agile and Lean Boot Camp
The course was fascinating, and the Agile and Lean Bootcamp was perfect preparation for the DASM material. It gave me a strong foundation for what was to come and a great theoretical understanding of the work. It was great having two instructors for a range of opinions!
DASM
I enjoyed the course and learned a lot. I have new tools to enhance my skills.
Value Stream Management for Leadership and Project Managers
Overall, I highly recommend Joshua Barnes as a Subject Matter Expert for Value Streams Mapping for Leaders and Project Managers. His knowledge, experience, and engaging teaching style make him an asset to any organization looking to improve their processes and drive efficiency. His real-world examples, tools, and tips were invaluable and will undoubtedly lead to measurable improvements in any organization's value stream mapping processes.

DAVSC
It's a great workshop delivered by two prominent experts of this field. I very much enjoyed it!
DASSM
Glen and Joshua are a wealth of knowledge. I very much appreciated hearing their perspectives on the evolution of DA, their experiences in applying DA during consulting engagements, and the deeper nuances behind the DA concepts. Very solid!
DAVSC
The depth of the content, the competence of the trainer, Joshua Barnes, and the sharing of experience of the participants make this course an energizing cocktail that shook my neurons. Now I will take the exam first and take in practice as soon as possible.
DASSM
Great trainer (Glen Little) with extensive experience in Agile - I thoroughly enjoyed the experience!!!
DAVSC
This is a very well-conceived course that covers a lot of aspects of scaling agility and goes deep enough to provide actionable tools and practices. The Process Mentors Instructors are awesome and the community that is being created around DAVSC shows a lot a promise. I'm looking forward being part of this community.
DAVSC
For a qualified person, this workshop can be a launching pad for a new and fulfilling career trajectory. This applies to external consultants or internal organizational consultants. This workshop feels like a graduate level university course. It is divided into three phases: pre-workshop preparation, the live virtual group training and post-workshop continuous learning. It is oriented toward participants who have confident leadership skills. It works best if you have an extensive set of applicable skills. To maximize your potential, you should expect to study and work with a strong sense of purpose.
DAVSC
The training was clear, relevant and transferable. It was an amazing look at how value streams can be improved in any enterprise.
DAVSC
Value stream mapping is a challenging activity and most of the material about value stream mapping is centered around manufacturing. As a result, it’s hard for consultants in knowledge work to be able to apply this important technique in real world scenarios. The idealized value stream presented in this class along with the approach to creating the improvement backlog is a great way to uncover the biggest areas for improvement without requiring a huge investment in time. Joshua and Al did a great job making this technique and the other material in the class accessible to us.
DAC
Joshua is an incredibly knowledgeable and skilled trainer. He did a great job of leading us through the material in a way where we “discovered” the insights, rather than just lecturing.
DAVSC
The Disciplined Agile Value Stream Consultant course provides details necessary for successful implementation in organizations. The instructors did a great job introducing and explaining uses of tools through activities and discussion. The wealth of experience attendees brought from various backgrounds also provided a broad perspective and enabled thoughtful discussion.
DAVSC
This comprehensive course enabled me to develop and practice Value Stream Concept. It has equipped me with tools and techniques which can used for better delivery of my client projects. Thank you Joshua and Al!
DAVSC
The DAVSC course was fantastic! I learned so much valuable information and gained so much insight from the course, I can’t wait to apply what I learned to the services I am providing my clients as an agile coach. This course convinced me that the DAVSC approach is the most effective way to guide organizations on the transformation journey. The course materials were invaluable and the trainers were world class! This is the best course I have taken in 15 years! The course really was spot on.. really it was just about perfectly balanced the way it was done. I loved the richness of the real world knowledge that was provided too.
Value Stream Management for Leadership and Project Managers
It's a valuable course - so much is jam-packed in! It's wonderful that some of the materials are available after the course so we can marinate on the content for longer with support.
CAPM
I think the course was well organized and Chastine was a thorough, kind, patient, knowledgeable instructor. Great class!
DAC
Thank you, Joshua, for the great course and your patience and time and effort and engaged course leadership. enjoyed it much and learned a ton and additionally got motivated and look forward to continue to learn and practice agile tools and methods you developed and train.
DASM
I love Chastine's style of teaching. She has an excellent backdrop for a virtual training environment too. Excellent on-demand training supplements and well-organized folders with content. Way to go!
Value Stream Management for Leadership and Project Managers
I am pleased to provide an outstanding recommendation for Joshua Barnes as an expert and Subject Matter Expert for Value Streams Management for Leaderships and Project Managers. I recently attended his one-day class at Process Mentors and was thoroughly impressed with his expertise, professionalism, and engaging teaching style.
DAC
Thank you Joshua Barnes for sharing your expertise on Disciplined Agile Coach training. Looking forward to transferring the knowledge I gained.
DAVSC
It provides a great opportunity to learn knowledge that can be tailored and implemented anywhere business agility is required. The perspective of agile delivery of MBI in an enterprise environment is provided by "Whole Thinking". The Value Stream Consultant course creates change agent who transforms the whole, inside and outside the team, across the organization.
DAVSC
The pace and quality at which the concepts within the workshop were discussed and presented to the attendees were adequate and overall relatable.
Value Stream Management for Leadership and Project Managers
Joshua's ability to communicate complex ideas and techniques clearly and concisely was particularly impressive. He engaged the class with his deep knowledge and provided insights that allowed us to see the potential for value stream mapping in a new light. His approach made the class interactive and engaging, and we left feeling confident and empowered to implement what we learned in our own work.
Agile and Lean Boot Camp
Great way to consolidate and provide an overview of information that I have picked up over time, and to level set a team on the suite of tools within Disciplined Agile.
DAC
Joshua has been the best DA instructor I have ever had. Looking forward to taking the Bootcamp.
DASSM
The course is interactive, as there were many in class Q&A
sessions that allow us to discuss the real-live challenges that we
are facing and Glen has years of experience in Agile, which
add tremendous value to our Q&A discussion.
DASM
I highly recommend Process Mentors, Inc. for Disciplined Agile training. Glen Little is a fantastic source of knowledge on this useful and valuable tool kit. Glen’s Disciplined Agile Scrum Master workshop was enjoyable and effective. Also, check out Joshua Barnes’ brand new Disciplined Agile course on LinkedIn Learning
DAVSC
Once again, Disciplined Agile has provided some essential tools to my coaching and consulting toolbox with the DAVSC course. This course not only shared how to attack the technical challenges of agile transformation at any scale, but also those complex adaptive challenges we face as agile transition agents and evangelists.
DAC
"The is no way to DA Coaching, DA Coaching itself, is the way." For a two day workshop, the DAC program was well crafted and well executed. I think it was the best possible preparation to be a DA Coach. As you know, we had a small group of six, but all were very experienced and eager to share and communicate. For me, the DAC workshop helped to clarify the DAC role and how it would apply in various engagements. It was also a timely refresher on the DASM and the DASSM materials (I took the CDA and the DALSM). We spent most of our time practicing DA coaching, and interacting with peers. And we have access to some of the MIRO tools. I especially like the tidbits that Joshua drops in. Some of these are communicated in a nanosecond, and it takes great concentration to recognize and make notes. These tidbits are like flakes of gold.
DAVSC
Probably the only course available which provides the context and description to Value stream mapping and also the step by step approach to unlock the value in the entire value chain. I am sure this course in coming years will become the go to course in the space of Agility. Joshua with his immense wisdom teaches this course with ease and to my knowledge he is the only instructor so far who never had to say on any question asked which resulted in no answer or any attempt to avoid the answer. He would make every single attempt to be inclusive and answer the questions in the best possible manner. I would recommend anyone who wants to learn in this space to at least once meet and learn from Joshua.
DAC
Another amazing workshop with Process Mentors. The content is amazing, and Josh is a wonderful instructor. There is also the added benefit of spending time with likeminded professionals from around the world and glean some of their experience and knowledge.
DAC
Great courseware and great instructor, Joshua was really effective in transmitting important content to our class.
DAC
Practical experience gained from applying DA principles/skills/knowledge in semi-real life scenarios. . Focus on practice…not knowledge transfer. Plenty of opportunities to learn from each other.
DAVSC
Identifying and delivering Value Streams in complex organizations is challenging as you need to deal with needs, requests and expectations of different stakeholders at different levels. The DAVSC course is extremely useful for clarifying and selecting the activities to be carried out, making sense of things, identifying areas for improvement and, ultimately, delivering value faster and in a more sustainable way.
DASSM
Fantastic course and a real privilege to be taught by Glen. Very knowledgeable and approachable. Would recommend to anyone and everyone interested in the subject!

Very pertinent information for success in today's business environment, a solid guide to understanding value streams and how managing them effectively can add value to your organization. Joshua Barnes is always solid in his delivery of knowledge, he brings practical knowledge to the learning experience which makes it invaluable. Always a pleasant experience in any courses he leads, lots of nuggets and very much worth every minute you spend in his classes.
DAC
The course was excellent and presented in a very motivating and clear way.

By far the best training I've taken in a decade! Every day was full of valuable information, and Joshua is fantastic at tying concepts back to real life situations. I will be able to immediately put concepts from the course to work in my organization.
DASM
Thank you for the awesome DASM workshop I took in July! (with Chastine Lynch). With all of the information and prep materials, I was able to pass the DASM exam on the first try! I'll definitely recommend your course to others!
DAVSC
Very information dense course, many examples and enough room to ask questions. Joshua managed to pack a lot of content and experience into his presentation; going through my notes will provide many weeks of research and additional insights.
DASSM
Chastine was an energetic and knowledgeable and patient trainer.
DAC
The course was packed with information! Fantastic course, lucky to be in a small cohort, we got the most out of the instructor.

Glen's deep knowledge and clear teaching made complex concepts easy to grasp. The course balanced theory and real-life examples (as well as anecdotes) equipping me with tools I can apply professionally. This course has been instrumental in enhancing my confidence and competence in orchestrating the work of complex agile teams.

I just completed DASM training via Process Mentors. I found the material very helpful, Glen Little was great and I’m excited to keep exploring the Agile practice. I would like to connect and keep exploring my training journey with Process Mentors! Glen was great, thank you for your time and patience!
Agile and Lean Boot Camp
I think that this deep dive into the basics of agile and lean is incredibly important to really be able to understand, apply, and be a person to help expand Disciplined Agile within an organization. Taking this two-day introduction first greatly enhances the value the participant will gain from the future training, because you know the meaning of the terms and the ideas on which DA rests.
DASM
Glen did a great job going over the entirety of the DASM content. He was extremely knowledgeable and detailed in answering any questions from the class. I feel ready and prepared to take all I've learned from the course and apply it to my software team.

Agile and Lean Boot Camp
Truly, a wonderful training program and I was very appreciative of Glen's expertise. Many of the examples he shared were directly from his own experience and I felt that it helped the team understand how agile concepts apply in practicality. Glen also guided us in through concerns of our current practices and recommended real life approaches. I felt humbled after the training as I now know I had a very basic understanding of agile. Many thanks, Glen!
DASSM
Glen provided a great atmosphere for learning with his
practical experience and knowledge of the DA tool kit.
We had time to discuss real life situations along with the
lesson material.
DAVSC
The DAVSC workshop instructors are experts in the subject area and breathed life into the content by relating their personal business experiences as well as actively facilitating dialog amongst the group of experienced participants. The workshop agenda is packed and we covered a lot of ground but the engagement of the instructors and participants made the DAVSC workshop a super event! I don’t know if our workshop was a special case but I enjoyed having our 3 instructors – Aldo Rall, Gareth Holebrook, and Horia Slușanschi. Their coordinated team approach, outstanding professional experiences and 3 unique English accents kept it interesting for me! I’m in the US but took the 5 day AsiaPac course after work hours in the evening so I really appreciated the extra energy provided by the team of instructors.
DAC
Absolutely great again to see Josh delivering this with his immense wisdom in the space of agility. Glen attending this with Josh was really a cherry on a cake. I can clearly see how Process Mentors is different from some of the others and why it stands out differently among others.
DAC
Really like and appreciate the new hybrid format of the course, with preparation allow more practical discussion and interactive participation (I hope others would go this way). Content was good and helpful. Well worth my investment in time.
DAC
The facilitation & training by Joshua was exemplary. He explained the concepts really well and the ensuing hands on exercises helped to reinforce the concepts. Joshua is very knowledgeable on DA and I would strongly recommend anyone interested in DA to take the training through Joshua and Process Mentors.
DAVSC
The knowledge gained was truly invaluable. Learned a tremendous amount about agile and DA - things you wont find anywhere else. It will take some time to process and review all of the lessons and notes but I would encourage anyone who wants to be on the cutting edge of Agile to take this course. I will be sharing this will my company and the others in the PMI and Agile communities. Also, the ability to share and hear from others around the world in the course is always my favorite part of the training. While I was not able to attend all of the extra sessions, I did attend 4 of the 5 and each was great and well worth the time.
DAVSC
The DAVSC course was fantastic. The DAVSC is future of work, focusing not just on getting things done, but on delivering value faster in a customer-centric world. There is no doubt in my mind why the DAVSC is the crown jewel in PMI's certification arsenal. Getting to learn from word-class instructor like Joshua Barnes has been monumental. Learning the reasons, the 'whys' behind the choices, the tools, the concepts, and the DAVSC 'unplugged sessions' from the creator of the DAVSC, Al Shalloway, was absolutely priceless.
DAVSC
A very well delivered course by Joshua and Al, lots of valuable knowledge shared and good exercises during the session. More practice opportunities and knowledge sharing sessions to solidify the knowledge gained needed, hopefully the CoP will provide this. Great interaction with other participants created good brainstorming opportunities, and future relationships built hopefully.
We help implement lean and agile methodologies to streamline processes in a context-sensitive manner.
